How many coats does Decosill require?
Apply one coat of Decosill by trowel over a correctly prepared and primed surface.
How much Decosill do I need?
Allow approximately 1 kg per linear metre of a standard window sill.
Which primer is required?
Use Decomin Quartz Primer. Allow the primer to dry for approximately 3–4 hours before applying Decosill.
What are the drying times?
Decosill normally dries in approximately 24 hours and reaches full strength after about 48 hours under suitable conditions.
What weather conditions are suitable?
Apply at a minimum temperature of +5 °C, ideally above +10 °C. The substrate must be dry. Do not apply during rain, frost, strong direct sun or when heavy rain is expected within 24 hours.
What pack sizes are available?
Decosill is available in 10 kg and 20 kg packs.
What is the grain size?
The natural stone grain is 1–2 mm and is available in coarse (A) and fine (D) grades.
