Decomin Stone Flooring (A Grade) is a seamless, fully bonded decorative mineral floor designed to deliver the beauty of natural stone with the durability required for modern Irish homes and commercial spaces.

Unlike loose stone carpet systems, this is a solid, continuous decorative render surface

The Decomin Stone Flooring 5m² Kit contains everything required to install a seamless natural stone floor finish over approximately five square metres. The kit includes 2.5kg of Decomin Quartz Primer for strong substrate adhesion, one 25kg bucket of Decomin Stone Flooring (A Grade – aggregate up to 2mm) to create the decorative mineral surface, and 1kg of Decomin Aquashield Acrylic Sealant to provide full waterproof protection and durability. Designed as a complete system, this kit ensures compatibility between layers and delivers a professional, bonded, seamless stone floor finish suitable for kitchens, hallways, bathrooms (when correctly sealed) and living spaces.

The Recommended System

For best performance, we recommend the complete Decomin system:

1️⃣ Surface Preparation

Apply Decomin Quartz Primer to ensure proper adhesion to concrete, screed or prepared existing floors.

2️⃣ Decorative Stone Layer

Apply Decomin Stone Flooring (A Grade – up to 2mm) evenly to create a seamless natural mineral texture.

Coverage: approx. 5–6m² per 25kg bucket depending on substrate and technique.

3️⃣ Protection & Waterproofing

Seal with Decomin Aquashield Interior & Exterior Acrylic Sealant to create a fully waterproof, durable finish.

How Is It Different from Stone Carpet?

Decomin Stone Flooring is not a resin-bound loose aggregate system.

It creates a:

  • Continuous bonded mineral surface

  • Non-loose aggregate finish

  • Easier cleaning surface

  • More refined internal floor solution

This makes it more suitable for interior domestic spaces.
