Decomin Travertino is a structural acrylic decorative coating with medium grain marble filler, recommended for the protection and decoration of pre-prepared surfaces on building facades, as well as for interior work.

Application

It is applied on a dry, solid, clean surface. Deep penetrating Decomin Quartz Prime is used to strengthen brittle crumbling surfaces prior to application.

Application of first (base) coat

TRAVERTINO is applied by trowel or spatula as a layer with a thickness of approximately 1.5-2 mm. After trowel application,  the required design is created by using a decorative tool. Decorative tools can include one or all of the following:

• Dragging brush (Tampone Jeans)
• Decorative roller
• Sponge
• Trowel or Spatula

After application, we remove the excess with a spatula, covering only the grooves to be painted. After drying, Travertino achieves its highest strength after 7 days.

Final Coating or Finishes

If we require a simple finish, Polyvine colourant can be mixed with Travertino prior to application. For example if we require a grey wall or ceiling, we will add black colourant to Travertino to achieve our desired shade of grey.

For more decorative finishes

We can use various Decomin products such as Tornado, Arianto, Fiesta, Fiesta Art and Colourful Waxes to achieve a blended colour finish. This will allow to to achieve pearlescent and metallic finishes.

Drying

Drying at + 20 ° C 6-8 Hours and humidity 65%. Consumption Plaster 0.5 -2.0 kg /m2,

Storage

It is stored in a closed container at a temperature not lower than +5 ° C. Warranty period 24 months from date of manufacture Packaging 4 kg.
