Description

Two-component, water-based polyurethane varnish for protecting concrete and microcement. The colourless coating is resistant to mechanical wear, chemicals and UV, does not yellow, and is easy to clean. Supplied as an 800 ml set of components A+B.

Suitable surfaces

For heavily used new or renovated concrete surfaces, microcement, floors and walls, concrete and cement screeds, ground surfaces and surfaces painted with epoxy paint. Also suitable for porous, unpolished stone, clinker and brick. Example settings include homes, garages, cellars, workshops, retail and warehouse premises, stairs and circulation areas.

Coverage and application

Coverage: approximately 10–11 m²/L per coat, depending on substrate and application.
Apply two coats. Each coat dries in approximately 8 hours.
Mixing ratio: 100 g component A to 20 g component B. Mix to a uniform consistency immediately before use; use the mixed product within 2 hours. Do not thin either component.
Prepare a level, clean, dry, degreased surface; remove dirt and dust thoroughly. Roughen smooth, dense concrete to improve adhesion.
Apply by varnish roller, brush or spray. Re-mix components A+B before the second coat.
Initial resistance to foot traffic: 24 hours. Full mechanical and chemical cure: 7 days.
Application conditions: +10°C to +30°C and relative humidity below 70%.

Until fully cured, protect the surface from water, dirt and mechanical damage. Clean with mild detergents and avoid abrasive sponges. Wear suitable personal protective equipment when mixing and applying. After mixing, do not store the product in a closed container.
